WHAT WE DO

Our focus at TKCI is on preventing and controlling corneal blindness.

We aim to accomplish this through the creation of a global network of resource centres. We are developing a network of cornea Institutes regionally and around the world using prevention and treatment strategies, human resources development for the care of corneal problems and research. This will encompass direct impact through service delivery and education and indirect impact through the outcomes of education, research, models, advocacy, plans and policy. This interlinked network will have a global impact on preventable and curable blindness in the world.
